BierBot Brick 2 Brewing Controller
The BierBot Brick is a cost effective way to monitor and control your brewing and fermentation processes. The Brick is the hardware heart of this platform, providing two WiFi smart switches (capable of outputting up to 15A/3500W together) with an integrated temperature sensor that is controlled via a custom built brewing web application, available from any web browser. From your user account at the BierBot website, you can create and store your own recipes which are used to automate your mash, boil, and fermentation steps.
The Bierbot Brick performs datalogging during your brew session, showing real-time temperatures and critical information via a pleasing user interface. You can store your pre-boil, post-boil, and post-fermentation wort gravity and volume for each batch, and add comments to your brewing log for later review.
With several BierBot Bricks 2, you can also switch higher loads or automate several devices in your brewery.
As the Brick 2 now has two outputs, the following scenarios are possible:
Mash kettle: AC1 for heating, AC2 for the agitator.
BIAB: AC1 controls the heating, AC2 controls the pump.
Fermenter (refrigerator): AC1 controls the heating mat, AC2 controls the cooling (glycol or refrigerator).
HERMS: AC1 controls the HLT heating rods (if you have more than 3.5kW heating power, you can use several bricks), AC2 controls the MLT pump through HLT.
